About Glad Dog Cards

I was born and raised in Connecticut into a large boisterous family of eccentric artists and gardeners. I was an unusually quiet child but learned early on (2nd grade) that the right image (a tap dancing frog) could bring recognition and creative satisfaction. Many happy years passed. I left my quiet Vermont town to study graphic design at Parsons School of Design. I created award winning corporate annual reports,brochures, logos, and Zabar’s first mail order catalog. I volunteered with the Green Guerillas helping turn empty lots in my East Village neighborhood into community gardens. My heart and green thumb brought me back to Vermont where I head a graphic design firm - handling projects for a wide range of clients. I started drawing again... and now divide my days between illustration and graphic design projects . Read their story
