About May's Naturals

May’s Naturals was born from the same spirit as The Lady May Restaurant and Lady May Tallow — a passion for tradition, quality, and doing things the right way. It began with The Lady May Market, inside our restaurant, where guests could enjoy and take home our pickled vegetables, jams, tallow, and honey. Soon, we couldn’t keep shelves stocked — people loved goods made with time-honored methods and honest ingredients. Three years later, we took the Market online. After a slow start, we reached 42,000 orders in our first full year, attracting boutiques and grocers nationwide. That was the start of our wholesale and white-label journey. In six years, we’ve grown from hand-packing jars in a restaurant kitchen to partnering with a third-generation organic soap and cosmetics family, scaling without sacrificing quality. We’ve opened a USDA-approved tallow facility for large-scale private orders and are renovating a downtown Ocean Springs “small batch” shop where customers can watch, learn, and create through workshops in traditional crafts. Our North Star remains simple: “What would our grandmother do?” The answer is always the same — do things the right way, with care and the best ingredients.
