About Zarabe

Founded during a trip to the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, Zarabe is a Moroccan house of exceptional handmade rugs confectioned with passion. Rug business is very much tied to the touristic activity in Morocco. With the pandemic that hit the world in 2020, many artisans lost their source of income. Taha and Anas founded Zarabe to support artisans to sell their rugs leveraging an e-commerce platform. Their dream gradually evolved to new ambitions. Today, Taha and Anas, beyond helping the local communities thrive, they aspire to reinvent the handmade Moroccan rugs and bring a modern touch to an ancestral craftsmanship. Zarabe rugs are designed in Casablanca by selected artists and developed by skilled craftsmen from noble wool. Our ambition is to make authentic Moroccan rugs with superior quality that will spruce up your interior space. Each rug we offer is unique. It has its own DNA and story. Zarabe is a community-driven brand that uses natural wool sourced from local shepherds. We are constantly searching for new ways to give back to our hardworking communities and the environment that we often take for granted.
