Hey!! I'm Alex, I've been making shoes for 8 years now, I started selling Vintage online with a footwear specialty after a while I came across an old family friend who's a lifetime cobbler and had a small workshop in San Diego CA, I asked and he accepted to become my Sensei in the lost art of handcrafted shoes, I worked with him and we started to make custom made shoes. In early 2019 I started ABSTRACT STIMULUS focusing on women's shoes, its ethos is to dissociate the brand from popular fashion and relate it to art, true handcrafting, ethics, creativity and love.
