Hook Ya started in 2017 when a local Saint Augustine outdoorsman had a bumper crop of tomatoes and datil peppers. With having more than they could give away, they started on a new datil pepper sauce recipe. Being an avid fisher, their focus was on making a sauce that would compliment the lightness of seafood, yet give it an irresistible spice! Finally they found the secret to the datil pepper! To this day we still grow our own datil peppers and source from local Florida farmers for a true farm to table product. It started with the sauce, but it didn't end there. The sauce experienced tremendous growth going from the home kitchen to being sold in over 300 stores in 3 years. Our seasoning has sold over 2000 pounds in 10 months to local restaurants and stores. We have also developed an environmentally friendly sport mineral sunscreen and angler hand cleanser that removes fish odors and grease from the hands effortlessly. The sunscreen took 18 months to develop and its performance is unrivaled for the outdoor enthusiast. All our products are clean label and only used the highest quality ingredients. This is very evident when you open our products as you can immediately see and smell the quality.
