About Ember & Oak

Ember & Oak was founded by two Canadians students with a shared love for candles and design. What started as a simple school project - pouring candles for friends and family - quickly turned into something bigger. As word spread, our candles found their way into homes all across our community, and before long we were pouring late into the night to keep up with demand. Encouraged by the incredible support we received, we took Ember & Oak to local farmers markets, where our clean, minimalist aesthetic and carefully blended fragrances struck a chord with customers. Those markets taught us how much joy a simple candle can bring, and inspired us to take the next step: offering our collections to retailers who want something intentional, timeless, and story-driven on their shelves. As young founders, we bring fresh energy to a classic craft. Every candle we create is hand-poured with care, using premium ingredients and natural wicks for a clean, stable burn. Our goal is simple: to create candles that connect people to comfort, atmosphere, and the little rituals that make life special.
