With a surplus of peppers from his garden in October 2020 founder, Andrew Whiting, decided to make a homemade hot sauce as a holiday gift. He spent the year growing & fermenting the resulting peppers. The result were homemade sauces given out as holiday gifts and they were such a hit that he decided to start a business. That’s how Hot Drops was born! Andrew grew up in Northern California — a region known for top-shelf agriculture and cuisine — in a family of food lovers. They exposed him to the world of food, and he’s been hooked on creating experiences where gathering & food are The Hot Drops promise is simple; source & ferment local organic ingredients to create complex flavors that will enhance your meal, not dominate it.
