My company, SoRetro Straps, was created out of a love of vintage bag, camera, and guitar straps. My SoRetro Straps are reminiscent of vintage style goods that many of us know and love from our childhoods; my dad had a cool, old camera strap that I was eager to replicate, but those vintage ones aren't really up to speed to carry our modern day DSLR cameras. My SoRetro Straps have been designed with those old styles in mind, but they are sturdy, useful, practical, gorgeous, and very comfortable. They are all adjustable up to 60 inches, for that perfect fit! I make them for bags, cameras, purses, banjos, briefcases, binoculars, and even guitars and ukuleles! My company name was derived from my last name, which is Soret, and when it clicked, it was just perfect! Soret = SoRetro I was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, but grew up in Florida. I now spend my time between North FL and Detroit. SoRetro has allowed me to travel more, meet more people, share what I love to do, and be more involved in the rebirth of my home state, which is so important to me! Creating a small business out of a passion, offering a variety of products people love, and being able to connect with my customers is a dream come true. I was born with the entrepreneurial spirit - a gift from my parents - and I love that I get to share my passion with others all over the country.
