About Jungle Direct

Born in Ghana to a local marketplace retailer and a highly-regarded wholesale merchant, Hamish and his brothers grew up surrounded by colour, craftspeople, and trade. For as long as he can remember, he watched the daily trading of artisan crafts – the way it should be done; with absolute respect for the product and the craftspeople. In partnership with his brothers, who are still on the ground in Ghana, Burns trades with absolute confidence in both his products and trade processes; because he’s able to ensure traditional products are imported with care and their craftspeople are daily compensated for their hard work and talent. Expanding their sights to local communities in Brazil, Jungle Direct now works with artisans there to bring their woven creations to the world with the same care, attention to detail, and regard for the creators that Hamish ensures in Ghana.Read their story
