Nelson Gomes was born in 1971 in the town of Fonte do Oleiro, Portugal, a place with strong roots in pottery and ceramics production. With an innate ability for the arts, at the age of 16, he began his professional activity (in the field of painting) at a ceramics company in the region, where he learned the basic techniques of artistic painting on earthenware. His critical, innovative, and creative spirit quickly made him stand out, and his professional path would come to include being a trainer in the field. He participated in various group and solo exhibitions with his works, always receiving very favorable feedback from the public, who recognize his originality and avant-garde approach. For several years, he has participated in international professional art and decoration events, maintaining direct contact with professionals in the field.
