Chanour Jewelry was born from a passion for artistry and craftsmanship. Founder Chanour Altu began his journey in Istanbul, Turkey in 2006, inspired by his uncle—a master designer of exclusive handmade costume jewelry. Working in his uncle’s studio, Chanour honed his skills in creating unique pieces from metals such as pewter, copper, and brass. In 2010, Chanour moved to the United States, bringing his vision to life on the streets of SoHo, NYC. What started as selling artistic, one-of-a-kind jewelry soon evolved into a thriving design and wholesale business. Two years later, Chanour Jewelry was officially established, dedicated to creating bold, handcrafted collections that celebrate individuality and style. Today, Chanour continues to push boundaries, blending heritage techniques with modern design to craft jewelry that tells a story.
