Husband and wife team Jason and Erin created Honest Woodcraft in 1999 with the simple goal of bringing nature home. At Honest Woodcraft our hardwood products are a natural choice for entertaining or commemorating meaningful milestones (weddings, new home, anniversaries, etc) as they are durable, functional and beautiful enough to take center stage. We work exclusively with high-quality natural materials sustainably sourced from local suppliers and we only use non toxic and organic finishes. No petroleum based mineral oil products, no VOC’s, no kidding! We believe our homes should be a haven, surrounded by natural things of beauty, sourced from the local environment and not tainted by anything toxic or harmful. It seems really simple, and yet, we found it took a lot of "digging" to find where things came from and how they were made. From oak wine barrel staves to Walnut wood stock that’s been seasoned for 20 years in some cases, we are committed to up cycling these pieces to create functional products that highlight the beauty and character they offer.
