About Charcoal & Rose Petals

Hi! My name is SarahAnn Goldnau-Vogt, the creator, owner and primary manufacturer behind Charcoal & Rose Petals. After completing my degree in bio- and physical-chemistry, my company was born by chance through a love for DIY projects and a passion for learning and creation. Our selection of products is constantly evolving – one of the beauties of being a small-scale operation – and I love trying out new ingredients and formulas. All recipes are original and we strive to source ingredients from Canadian-based companies, as supporting and shopping from local companies is important to me. All soaps are vegan, as well as many of our other products! I also don’t sell any single-use plastics. All products that require containers come in beautiful glass jars or metal containers – which I encourage you to reuse after finishing the product. Charcoal & Rose Petals is operated by a 100% woman-run team. Employing women in my community for honest work for fair pay has always been a huge aspiration of mine, and it's thanks to all of your support that it is slowly coming true.
