About Munro Leather Co

My name is Zak and I started the Munro Leather Co to turn what started as a hobby into a business. I have a love of hand crafted things and traditional industries. I have been a traditional Scotch whisky distiller for the last 13 years and continue to do so while I get my leather business up and running. Whisky is a strange industry as much of what I have made over the years is still sitting in warehouses quietly maturing and i wanted to start something where i can create with the same passion and continue a traditional profession but also see my work being used and enjoyed as that's what it is all about. Everything that comes from us is made by myself, by hand including every stitch! I am proud of everything that leaves my workshop (spare bedroom for now). Read their story
