Viv is a new earth-friendly period care brand working to rewrite our relationship with our period by emphasizing inclusivity, sustainability, and breaking the stigmas surrounding menstruation. Viv was founded by a gen-z woman of color & is a fully woman led team working to bring authenticity and activism into everything they do. When we learned that 1 menstrual pad is equivalent to 4 plastic bags of waste and 1 pad or tampon can take up to 800 years to break down, we were shocked! Large corporations were failing to address this issue so we decided to tackle it ourselves, knowing there were lots of other socially and eco-conscious menstruators like us who would demand better from their period brand.
