Vegan and plastic-free. Once upon a time in Xandra's kitchen: how it all started... Xandra and Lorenz founded PlantBase in summer 2019. At this time, the idea of producing sustainable zero waste cosmetics had been a topic for a long time. So why not put passion into action and use the opportunity to share your own idea with others? It all started in a very small circle. Xandra has always shared her enthusiasm for natural cosmetics with friends and family — everyone was quickly impressed by her homemade cosmetics. The idea of bringing plastic-free natural cosmetics to people took its course and the two made a decision: They wanted to make their vision come true and completely avoid plastic and animal testing in all products. All done in traditional handwork and according to our own recipe. A statement against mass production! PlantBase started with self-made lip care and natural deodorant in cardboard tubes. The demand for the products was enormous! An incentive for Xandra and Lorenz to continue and expand the range. Today, we are a colorful, creative and passionate team of two-legged and four-legged friends who are driven every day to develop innovative products and make the world a better place.

We loved the products, but unfortunately some of the products was expired when we received them and some expires after some months only, I guess its the challenge with natural produced products that contains no artificial , we was suppose to get some of the expired refunded , but it never arrived from the custom here in Norway and have not managed to get a feedback on it or a refund from plantbase
