Hello there! My name is Rosie, and I am the brand owner of Pink Llama Soapery. Pink Llama Soapery is a Veteran owned small business. I started Pink Llama Soapery (then Shugga Wuggas Handmade Soaps) 9 years ago when I was honorably discharged from the US Army. I decided to become a homesteader and raise dairy goats. Over time I had so much goat milk that I did not know what to do with it. Someone had mentioned to me that I should make soap with it. So, I started researching soap making and followed a few soap makers on YouTube and fell in love with it. I made my first batch of soap and gave it to friends and family. Next thing I know, I was turning it into a business! I have been making soap since 2015 and started the business in March 2016. I went from making it in my kitchen to renting a small apartment for my studio and selling online. Over the years I have gotten better with my creativity and 5 years later, I opened my first store front. Now I am living in Alaska and opened The House of Shugga LLC, a small self-care studio in Seldovia, Alaska where my brand is available locally and to other retail owners.Read their story
