About Olive Surf

I grew up on the East Coast beaches, always in a bathing suit, surfboard in hand, surrounded by an amazing group of women that really helped guide me through life. When we started to think about launching the brand, we needed to ensure that it was (1) highly sustainable, protecting the oceans I grew up surfing in, and (2) empowering to all the important women in our lives. So ,our mission became that: We are an eco-friendly, timeless swimwear line devoted to making every woman feel beautiful and responsible at the same time. The fabric we use is made up of 100% regenerated nylon yarn from pre and post-industrial waste: fishing nets, carpet fluff and tulle. All the prints are hand-painted by me, designed by me, and designed for all ages and body types. All our suits are named after inspiring women in our lives, and especially those that we grew up with both in Bay Head, New Jersey and Bethany Beach, DE. We are also honoring both matriarchs of our families who have both passed from similar memory diseases, who were both beach worshipers and classy, wonderful women who shaped both of our lives. We chose a color palette for the Spring 2022 collection that was inspired by Bali, Indonesia where my mother and I traveled for a yoga retreat.
