Sieme is founded and designed by Cassandra Kane who knew that something needed to change after witnessing extraordinary amounts of leather waste while working for global luxury brands in Italy. An average of 20-40% of leather materials are discarded as part of the production process. In 2020, she set off to create extraordinary handbags and to develop a sustainable supply chain to support the production of them and keep leather out of landfills.
