The Iacovelli Farm was founded in the land of Bari, in Casamassima, in 1930. The ancient tradition and passion for producing oil with superb characteristics have been passed down from father to son for more than four generations. Even today it is a family-run business, where experience and the secrets of the trade are transmitted as a precious inheritance. The “Iacovelli” extra virgin olive oil is obtained by cold pressing olives typical of the area, called Ogliarola barese and Coratina, harvested in our own olive groves and in selected plantations of trusted olive growers who follow the same agronomic and phytosanitary plan. The particular attention to obtaining a quality product leads the Iacovelli oil company to use olive pressing plants that are constantly serviced and therefore always efficient, as well as scheduled modernizations over the years to meet new demands from the national and international market. We directly follow all stages, from the cultivation of the olives through our Farm to all phases of transforming the olives into Extra Virgin Olive Oil in the Olive Mill. At Via Carducci 8/D in Casamassima there is a retail outlet where we sell our products: oil, almonds, walnuts, sauces, preserves, honey, pickled vegetables, and those of “friendly” farms. From here shipments depart every day to all over Europe, in packaging suitable for logistical transport.Read their story
