About Moon Cocoon Candles

“Moon Cocoon and the Natural World” A coastal native of Oregon, I have spent my life immersed in the woods that are home to luscious ferns, wet pines and the trillium. I became enamored by natures bounty of wild aromas and a close relationship to the wild plants and natural aromas was forged at a young age. I believe that the sense of smell has a precious ability to take you back to your childhood, or back to a wonderful place in time that may have been forgotten. The mysterious familiarity of a scent can even throw you into the arms of a loved one, with the richness of your mind. Indulging in an aroma can uplift your mood and even change the way you think. Moon Cocoon Candles is the product of my appreciation for wild and rich aromas derived straight from the earth. I make clean and natural beauty products using plant extracts of orchid, mallow, calendula, rosehip, agave and evening primrose just to name a few. Some of my favorite natural plant oils to use are sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, squalene oil and castor oil. The simplicity of using plant based products such as soy wax, cocoa butter, mango butter, beeswax, essential oils and plant extracts are at the root of all Moon Cocoon products, whether it is in a candle, a perfume, or a sensuous body lotion. I care immensely about the health and sustainability of our planet and strive to source all ingredients as locally as possible. The glass containers are primarily made of recycled glass and are always reusable!
