I like to think that in every cup of our coffee there is a bit of the company, the family, and our entrepreneurial dream. Each cup must tell of our noisy family meetings around large tables, the dedication to work that our grandparents taught us, and the respect for values and relationships with others. Being a family and being a company is a unique source of energy, an invaluable asset, a guarantee of ethics, passion, and continuity. Our story as coffee roasters begins in San Carlo Canavese in 1971, in a small warehouse owned by my grandparents. My father, Luciano Perrero, had worked in the coffee field from a young age, then decided to refurbish the old warehouse and start his own roasting business. A difficult step, with many hours dedicated to experimenting, listening, and learning, while continuing to invest and grow. Today, many things have changed, while many others have remained unchanged: our determination to learn and grow, our enthusiasm for our coffee, and our deep respect for the land and the work of the entire supply chain. Investing in sustainability with the construction of our photovoltaic plant, choosing Organic and Fair Trade, Fairtrade certification, and sharing the Donas do Cafè project are some of the steps to realize our dream: a good, fair, and unique coffee.
