About Terrapin Glass Gardens

Terrapin Glass Gardens- Handblown in Humboldt since 1995. Collectible Unique Art made from borosilicate glass-by BJ and Lisa. Stemless glassware, hanging and standing colorful vessels with air plants, glass critters, hand dyed clothing and more. Our Story-My husband and I moved to Arcata to attend Humboldt State University in 1993. I graduated with an art major, business minor, focusing on jewelry, lithography and sculpture. We sort of fell into glassblowing toward the end of college. I started to incorporate glass into other mediums. Eventually creating a successful wholesale glass manufacturing business. We are always finding something new to make in glass and always trying to find uses to up-cycle scrap glass. So much inspiration and so much joy discovering new things.
