The Hungry Gnome Is a NY based wholesale and online bakery specializing in Scones, Cookies, Biscuits, Muffins, Banana Bread and more! Chef Danielle Sepsy and her “Gnomies” create each baked good with high quality ingredients and most importantly, a whole lot of love. We like to say we take the classics that you know and love and make them one step better, or as many of our customers say “the best they’ve ever had!” The Hungry Gnome all started in 2003 when Chef Danielle Sepsy was just 13 years old. She spent her summers out east on Long Island where her family would stop at a local farm stand to pick up freshly baked scones. When Danielle’s favorite farm stand closed shop she decided to create her own version of her favorite treat. Friends, loved ones and local businesses quickly caught wind of Danielle’s incredible scones and before she knew it she was waking up before school to bake and deliver hundreds of scones. After all these years, Danielle’s scones are still the talk of the town and our wholesale offerings have now expanded. We now carry not only scones but premium quality muffins, cookies, banana bread and more! Why the name "The Hungry Gnome" you ask? Chef Danielle named her business after her older sister’s secret obsession with Gnomes.
