I'm Katie, the owner and creator of Katie Morags. As most hair-brained were, Katie Morags was born during lockdown, when the pubs were shut and so what could we do but spend all your time and money on crafts! What started as a way to stay occupied quickly grew into something much bigger — taking over not only time, but most of the house too. Based in Clitheroe, Lancashire - Katie Morags creates bold, handmade jewellery and accessories using resin and polymer clay. Every piece is made in small batches, often completely one-of-a-kind, because of the scale and handmade nature of the process. The style is unapologetically expressive — inspired by icons like Pat Butcher, famous for her unforgettable statement earrings, and the fearless creativity of David Bowie. Colour, attitude, and individuality are at the heart of every design. No two pieces are ever exactly the same — because the people who wear them aren’t either.
