I cannot tell you the exact date that I first starting taking wood , cutting it into smaller pieces and fixing it back in different shapes. Certainly too young for power tools but not for a small saw and hammer in my Grandads workshop ! All of my life since then I have enjoyed this process and still take great joy from a finished project , especially when it becomes a loved item in a new home. Fast forward a few years and the aim of Melbourne Maker is to create , high quality , well designed, functional pieces for you and your space. We want to do this with minimal impact on our Planet.
