Founded in 2020 by our founder & designer, Bella Wilson, Australian jewellery label Malakai the Label was born with vision of creating a high quality, ocean inspired jewellery line. Today Malakai the Label is loved by thousands of customers worldwide, and is one of Australia's leading ocean safe jewellery lines. Sustainability is at the forefront of Malakai the Label, guiding everything from our manufacturing methods to our packaging. We are proud to work with an international manufacturer that is accredited by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC). This ensures ethical factory practices, safe working conditions and environmental care. We pride ourselves on creating high quality jewellery made to last and withstand a lifetime of summers. We use recycled 18k gold and sterling silver in our pieces. Repurposing post consumer scrap, industrial waste and jewellery production waste. Every piece is carefully crafted to minimise waste and maximise longevity, so your jewellery is made to last many summers to come. Our designs start with hand drawn sketches by our founder Bella in our Perth office. Drawing inspiration from the ocean, summer and her travels. Our incredible international team transforms Bella’s sketches into precise 3D models. From there, production begins using recycled gold and silver, crafted ethically in our RJC-certified factory.Read their story
