About Wild Valentine

I’m Natalie – a self-taught artist and illustrator based in Portland, Oregon, and the founder of Wild Valentine. My work is drawn in a bold black-and-white linocut style inspired by nature, folklore, animals, and the small, simple magics of everyday life. Every illustration is hand-drawn by me and shaped by a deep reverence for the natural world. I love creating pieces that feel emotionally resonant, a little unexpected, and deeply meaningful to the people who bring them home. My artwork is available as art prints, greeting cards, stickers, tea towels, and bandanas – thoughtfully designed goods created to bring beauty, meaning, and a little everyday magic into homes and daily rituals. Wild Valentine began as a promise to my late Mimi to share my art with the world. It has grown into something I think would delight her: a practice guided by joy, curiosity, intuition, and love, with those threads running through everything I make. My work tends to find a natural home in botanical, nature-inspired, and witchy shops, bookstores, museum stores, apothecaries, and thoughtfully curated gift boutiques. I’m proudly woman-owned and independently operated, personally pack each order with care, and am genuinely invested in building thoughtful, lasting partnerships with the shops I work with.Read their story
