Two Sisters One Vision Artistry combined with love & respect for the natural world, WinterPrint finds inspiration from nature & commonplace objects. Behind every design exists a story... WinterPrint's textural design takes the viewer on an excursion with nature through an altered photographic lens, evoking a sense of connection to the natural world. In October of 2015, Aileen Winter Mostel and Barbara Wallace Winter launched WinterPrint, a surface pattern design business, to market and license Aileen's repository of mesmerizing photographic images. For a lifetime Aileen and Barbara have shared an ongoing conversation about creating, making & building. Natives of the Deep South, their ancestral roots have influenced the fundamentals of WinterPrint, crafting a family business based on a lifelong love of textiles, gardens & design. Early influences came from their maternal Grandmother who taught them as young girls to love the art of sewing, threads, needles, notions & fabric, forging the fundamentals of WinterPrint. In 2019 the WinterPrint Silk Scarf Collection was launched. WinterPrint’s luxurious scarf designs are thoughtfully selected and crafted from our treasure trove of designs, with a meticulous eye for color, design detail & workmanship.
