About Jellykoe

Jellykoe started in 2009, when I (Kelly) made a couple stuffed animals for my nieces. Spencer encouraged me to make more, and we came up with several fun creature designs. In 2010, Spencer decided to not only help design the plush, but to bring his imagination to life through illustration. Being toy collectors ourselves, we both knew from the beginning that we wanted our work to appeal more to adult collectors than children, but we didn't want to lose the whimsy in them. So we kept the bright, fun colors but mixed it with horror or dark themes. We like to call our style "creepy cute."Read their story
