I purchased my first sewing machine in March 2020, after being inspired by a community of YouTubers who would thrift clothing or repurpose old clothing to give it new life. By the end of the year, during an extremely stressful time of waiting my exam results to finally get my CPA (accounting designation), I started sewing scrunchies to channel my anxiety... into something beautiful. I began posting these on my Instagram stories, where so many people were asking to purchase. I always dreamt of starting my own business, but I never thought I would - especially not one where I was sewing since I never knew how until then! With big dreams of building a brand, LUNARIA DREAMS was born. Today, our primary focus is on our bestselling scrunchies, as we truly value accessories that are soft, luxurious, and ethically handmade.
