Instead, she began sewing reusable bags for fruit and vegetables. The response was overwhelming! Every time the small mesh bags were used in a store, someone would approach her. Clearly, many others were also tired of single-use plastic. A few months later, she founded OMOM. For the habit of using again and again. As the company grew, it became natural to seek a sustainable partnership with a manufacturer capable of meeting the increasing demand. After nearly a year of searching, the choice fell on a family-run business in India that operates with the same passion for sustainability as the founder herself.
