PoCo Soap Co is a 100% Canadian owned and operated handmade soap company based in Port Coquitlam, BC, home of Canadian hero: Terry Fox. The Canadian flag is featured prominently on our packaging along with a generally strong Canadiana aesthetic . Nestled 45 minutes outside of Vancouver, Port Coquitlam is a beautiful small town surrounded by rivers, forests, and mountains. Frequently seen wildlife include squirrels, coyotes, and black bears. Our PoCo Soap Co black bear mascot was inspired by a news article from years ago entitled “Bear Not Drunk, Just Fat and Lazy” Our soaps are inspired by ideas, and every one has a unique theme either directly or abstractly referenced by its name. Made with mostly Olive and Coconut oils, as well as added Shea Butter, Avocado Oil, all of our soaps are super-fatted to 6%. Pure essential oils are used to provide scent, and clays, plant powders, and other natural colourants provide colour, depending on the theme of the soap.Read their story
