Nutcase Vegan Organics was founded in 2014 by Drs. Monica Randles and Andrew Maternowski, two plant-based medical doctors in Grand Rapids, MI, were on a mission to create genuinely healthy, satisfying meat alternatives. Inspired by their children’s decision to go vegetarian after watching Food Inc., they began crafting plant-based versions of their favorite family recipes using superfoods like tree nuts, brown rice, quinoa, and whole spices. Today, Nutcase Vegan Organics is one of the only woman-owned, USDA Organic-certified meat alternative brands that’s truly health-first. Our products are made from whole foods—no added oil, no sugar, and low sodium—yet deliver all the comfort and versatility of traditional meats.
