About OrangeBeautiful
Emily Wentz, the brains (and brawn) behind OrangeBeautiful, is a Chicago-based graphic/typography designer, bookbinder, hand letterer, former shop owner, event producer (SHOW of HANDS Chicago), corgi lover, and 90s hip hop aficionado. Since starting OrangeBeautiful in the fall of 2004, Emily has created countless product lines, designed & printed work for hundreds of custom clients, owned & operated her own retail shop (2010-2017), and founded her own large-scale craft show showcasing fellow makers, designers, and small businesses (2013-present). After 18+ years in business, OrangeBeautiful continues very much as it began: designing everything in-house, with all products being made in the U.S.A. In fact, nearly 100% of our products are produced exclusively in Chicagoland by locally-owned businesses (everything except the stickers, which are printed in California). Emily currently runs OrangeBeautiful out of her home studio in the NW Chicago neighborhood of Portage Park where she lives with her musician husband, Josh, tuxedo cat, Artemis, and tri-color corgi pup, Sweet Dee.
