The designer and artist Stefanie Pietsch launched her eponymous label in 2018 out of a personal love for kaftan dresses. With a few dresses made for friends, more and more customers discovered the unique combination of a minimalist yet perfectly draping cut, skin-friendly, high-quality fabrics, and the specially developed, expressive prints. With a background as a graphic designer and artist, she draws inspiration from nature, colors, and patterns on her travels, and processes the hand-drawn designs into artistic fabric designs for the Art Edition, which she has printed on sustainable fabrics in Portugal. She has won several art awards and unites all areas of her artistic spectrum with her collection. Stefanie Pietsch creates creations based on architectural silhouettes while allowing space for the body and the flowing material.
