Molokai is an Italian brand of sustainable beachwear, born and produced in Emilia Romagna. Founded during the quarantine period, the brand was born from the desire to transform a moment of difficulty into a conscious project that combines ethics, craftsmanship, and design. Environmental sustainability is at the heart of Molokai. All swimsuits are made with regenerated fabrics obtained from the recovery of marine waste such as fishing nets, tulle, and textile scraps. The yarn is regenerated and infinitely recyclable, for a fashion with reduced environmental impact without compromising on quality and comfort. The entire supply chain is 100% Made in Italy: from the recycling of the yarn to the packaging of the finished garment, every phase is entrusted to small artisanal workshops located in Rimini and Emilia Romagna. The swimsuits are handmade in limited quantities, following the principles of slow fashion and enhancing local artisan work. Molokai collections are distinguished by original and exclusive prints, produced in limited editions. The launch line Italiad’amare is inspired by the landscape, artistic, and cultural beauties of Italy, to tell the territory through design.
