About Coccinella- Mediterranean Heritage

Hello! We are the Kaplan family from Turkey and are very excited to offer you our production of premium Extra Virgin Olive Oils and authentic Turkish textiles, our Mediterranean Heritage. Our journey to the United States started ten years ago when we hosted an Italian exchange student in our home in Turkey. It impacted us so much, we wanted our children to benefit from this same cultural exchange. As a result, our boys attended school in New Hampshire, then moved to Minnesota to attend college. As we visited, we met faculty members, friends, and families, exposing us to their culture and traditions. We felt so welcomed by the community it sparked our desire to bring a part of our culture to share in return! Today, we welcome you to our Coccinella family! Our Minnesota-based company is built on the community where we support our local farmers in Turkey and partner with over 100 retail stores nationwide in the U.S. We offer our family's own production of award-winning Oleavia Extra Virgin Olive Oils and premium Turkish cotton textiles from small Turkish families who have been weaving textiles for generations.
