We want to offer a product that represents ethical manufacturing, high quality and safety, a product that stands out from the crowd, that is fun to play with, stimulates imagination and role-play, and encourages play. Play also gives children the opportunity to practice social skills, process fear, learn basic concepts, develop the senses, try out adult roles, practice language, develop imagination and cooperation skills, consolidate knowledge, and more. Petra Rigby Jinglöv founded the company in 2000, the same year her son Oskar was born and two years after her daughter Ellen was born. Petra and her family lived in Asia for several years.
