Flerish was co-founded by Avery Johnson Jr., a former University of Alabama athlete who competed at the highest level of collegiate sports. While playing, Avery saw a clear gap in the hydration market. His search for something better led to watermelon, one of nature’s most hydrating fruits, naturally rich in water, potassium, antioxidants, and amino acids. Partnering with Nicholas Nevins, whose family background in premium hydration goes back to the launch of Perrier in North America, they set out to build a clean and functional hydration brand.
