About Fable Pets
Fable is a family-run company that was founded by Sophie and Jeremy, siblings and NYC dog park regulars. We design gear that solves problems for you and your pet, so the two of you can enjoy exploring the world together and believe that helping your pet stay safe is about more than getting you leashes that can withstand anything (though we’re into that too): it’s about delivering tools that are so intuitive, you can actually focus on the world around you, and be ready to make their world a whole lot more fun too. Instead of adapting existing ideas, we design our products from the ground up. It’s how we know they’re the best tools for your life and not just the best version of something else.

We are currently evaluating which Fable products to carry, so naturally the iconic wood crate was one of the first items we wanted to try. Unfortunately, the crate we received had multiple quality issues, including glue residue on the finish, peeling bentwood, cracks, scratches, and a misaligned panel. Faire and Fable addressed the issue very promptly, but the experience does make us cautious about the consistency of product quality moving forward.
