About Becky Bug Designs

Hello my name is Ashton the one woman show behind Becky Bug Designs. My entire life I've always loved art and making things. I was always drawing as a child and on the weekends I was always doing woodworking projects with my Papa. He taught me everything I know. I let that fall to the side as I began my teaching career. In 2020 when my school year suddenly ended in March, I decided to use that extra time as a creative outlet. I purchased a scroll saw to take the sketches and doodles I was frequently making into something else. I fell in love with making wood art. Soon, my family and I moved back to my home state where I was able to truly grow my creative passions. I began participating in craft and art shows regularly. I then purchased my first C02 laser to begin adding more details to my woodworking. At that point I began doing shows and events almost every single weekend. In 2024 I left my teaching career after 10 years to spend more time with my family and spend more time creating. I appreciate every single person that has helped me to be where I am with my business.
