About Emerson Creek Pottery

Emerson Creek Pottery was founded in 1977 with the goal of creating functional art. We believe the ceramics you have in your home should be functional, beautiful and long lasting. All of our products are created from nontoxic ingredients sourced from North American suppliers. Our unique and varied collection is created in our studio from design concept all the way up to completed production. From mixing our tried and true stoneware clay, to making our own glazes and hand painting each design, we pride ourselves in a hands-on approach and execution of creating beautiful daily use pottery. Our studio is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains which serve as a continual presence and inspiration to our artisans. We are proudly American made and our botanical inspired designs and sustainable approach to creating has resulted in a quality product which is both beautiful and useful. All of our ceramics are lead and cadmium safe, microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe, and are made to be used over and over by anyone who appreciates beauty, American tradition, and function.
