Driven by the desire for positive change, we set out to create a sustainable and reliable light source. The inspiration behind our product was simple yet profound — it was to be a beacon of hope during power outages, enabling people to continue their studies, manage their households, and maintain their businesses after sunset. The answer lay in harnessing the abundant sunlight in South Africa to create a safer and more cost-effective alternative to traditional kerosene lamps. The result of our efforts was the SONNENGLAS, a solar-powered glass lantern that illuminated not only homes but also lives.
