My name is Danutė, and I live and create in the beautiful country of Lithuania. My journey with clay began when I was just four years old. I still remember the construction sites in our neighborhood—mountains of clay, mud, and soil were my playground. That’s where my hands first met earth, and I was instantly hooked. Now, more than thirty years later, clay is still my favorite material. It offers endless possibilities, and working with it feels like a form of meditation—a process that requires focus, presence, and a free mind. Each piece in my shop is handcrafted with care in my home studio, where I draw inspiration from the forests, mushrooms, leaves, and quiet beauty of the natural world around me. I love transforming these simple shapes into functional art—whether it’s a mushroom-shaped tea strainer, a soap dish, or an incense holder.
