In 2015, TUTUNJ (22NJ) started in a small dorm room in Istanbul, founded by Ege Tutuncu, a young designer with a love for fashion and self-expression. What began as a personal project, creating a few unique T-shirts, quickly grew into something bigger. Ege's unique style soon caught people's attention, and before long, 22NJ was being sold in boutiques across Turkey and beyond. By 2019, the brand’s unique designs were being seen on famous models and celebrities, like Victoria's Secret Angels Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel, Bianca Balti, popstar Adam Levine, as well as famous influencers Alix Earle and David Dobrik. With 22NJ’s bold and original styles, the brand quickly became known for its cool and effortless look. Ege’s journey wasn’t easy. He built 22NJ from the ground up, working tirelessly to create a brand that reflected his personal story while also resonating with fashion lovers across the globe. His move to Los Angeles marked a new chapter, as 22NJ expanded its reach internationally. Today, the brand is sold in more than 15 countries, and has been featured in high-profile fashion magazines and worn by some of the most iconic figures in the industry.Read their story
