Spitzenstücke is handmade lightweight filigree award-winning jewelry. At the age of eight Stefanie learnt the bobbin lace technique which is still very popular the Vogtland region. She crafts her delicate pieces of jewelry using ultra - thin steel or silver wires, hand-dyed polyamide and pearls, stones or antique glass beads to create three dimensional treasures. the bobbin technique provides transparency and lightness. The result of these ultra- fine materials and her great skill are beautifully filigreed treasures whose value cannot be defined by the materials but rather by the amount of time required to handcraft each individual pieces.Read their story
