Curious about where the genius idea for our expandable suitcase came from? It all began when Isaac, Fugu’s Founder and CEO, was packing for a business trip. He only wanted to bring a carry on, but his wife asked him to bring back souvenirs and gifts for their family. The problem arose – should he bring a small suitcase, or a big one? That was the “lightbulb moment” that put the idea of an expandable suitcase into his head. Isaac paired up with his Co-founder, David Lifshitz, and together the pair were going to create a smarter and more convenient way to travel. Isaac and David teamed up with some of the best and brightest minds in the industry, and after months of hard work and dedication, brought their idea of an expandable suitcase to life. The Fugu team consists of creative and passionate engineers and designers that put thought into every detail of their bags. Everyone on the team shares a love for travel, and the desire to save time, money and space. We’re passionate about freedom & flexibility while traveling.
