Welcome to Harriet Handmade Co. -- a 100% handmade accessories and home decor small business located in the mountains of Colorado! My name is Nicole, and I am the sole creator, maker, and owner of my business. I am also a cat mom and a nurse! Harriet Handmade Co. came about as I explored my interest in different forms of fiber art. I had always been making art/crafting in some form from sewing to photography, but my creating journey really took off with the opening of previous 2-person Etsy shop making jewelry back in 2016. During that time, I started branching out and trying different art forms. I had been sewing since childhood, but I taught myself to crochet, knit, and create macrame pieces; in 2020, I took it to the next level and opened my own Etsy shop to focus on this new direction in my art. I am essentially focused on macrame, sewn, knit, and crochet women's accessories as well as home decor. I created my brand as a way to expand and explore my love of crafting, to showcase my creations, and to share my designs with my customers and see their joy with one of my pieces! So who's Harriet?
