Whats Her Face is a small swimwear brand owned and led by one woman. Based in Vancouver, BC, Canada, the brand was founded from a simple frustration: I could never find swimwear that felt flattering, comfortable, and truly suited my body. After beginning to make my own swimsuits, I quickly realized that many other women were struggling with the same thing. For the past five years, I’ve been creating handmade swimwear with a strong focus on fit, comfort, and inclusivity. My goal has always been to create pieces that help people feel confident in their bodies, rather than forcing them to fit into standard sizing or traditional swimwear molds. Every piece is designed and made in Vancouver using high-quality fabrics, including recycled materials whenever possible. What started as fully custom, made-to-order swimwear has now grown into curated collections for boutiques and retailers, while still maintaining the same small-business approach and attention to detail that the brand was built on. All swimwear is handmade in small batches or made-to-order to reduce waste and avoid overproduction. As the brand grows, my goal is to continue keeping production ethical, local, and intentional while offering unique, thoughtfully made swimwear that stands apart from mass-produced alternatives.
